Our Story, with Current and Recent Case Studies
The founder of our firm embarked on a dynamic journey in real estate acquisitions back in 2009. His career began with a focus on distressed assets, working closely with major lenders and banks such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Chase, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America. His role involved acquiring these distressed assets and orchestrating their sale to private equity investors, honing his expertise in the intricate landscape of real estate investment.

In 2012, the founder made a pivotal move by purchasing his first rental property—a single-family house in Mesa, Arizona, for $23,000. This property, which was quickly rented out for $750 per month, laid the foundation for his future endeavors. Demonstrating a keen sense of strategic investment, he leveraged a 1031 exchange just two years later to acquire three new properties. This savvy decision significantly bolstered both the equity position of the firm and its cash flow, while optimizing tax depreciation benefits.

By 2015, the market had significantly shifted away from distressed assets. Recognizing an unmet opportunity in the market, the firm shifted towards direct marketing and "i-buying" properties directly from property sellers off-market. 

The year 2019 marked another milestone when the founder established his own brokerage. This venture was more than a business expansion—it was a strategic move to create greater flexibility and synergize various aspects of the real estate process.

Furthering his commitment to continuous learning and property technology innovation, the founder enrolled at MIT Sloan in 2021, where he studied Executive Management and Finance. At MIT, he also earned certificates in digital business and innovation. This academic and professional growth period coincided with the firm obtaining their 506C exemption, a pivotal development that enabled the firm to start accepting LP equity partners.

The strategic acumen of the firm was once again evident in the firm's investment into multifamily properties. Alongside this, the firm maintains a portfolio of single-family assets, boasting some of their net rental returns over a 30% cap rate, and has successfully closed transactions with annualized returns surpassing 100%, and in some cases even 150% since the 2022 change to interest rates. This impressive track record is a testament to using practical technologies from data and marketing through disposition. 

The founder's journey in real estate is a story of strategic value creation for customers using technology. This analytical mindset is a cornerstone of the methodology, influencing every aspect of business operations.
